New species of leopard discovered:

Scientists have identified a leopard found on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra as a new species of the great cat. The nature protection body WWF says genetic and skin tests on the creature have shown that is almost as different from other Asian leopard as lions are from tigers. Scientists have named it the Bornean clouded leopard. The announcement follows a December report from WWF saying dozens of new animal, fish, plant and tree species had recently been found on Borneo, one of the world's last frontiers for biodiversity.
